A panoramic view of Nyíregyháza city centre
The Roman Catholic Church is one of the most famous buildings in Nyíregyháza, located in the heart of the city, in the main square. A lookout point was built in the church tower in 2021, offering a beautiful panorama of the city centre.

A bird’s eye view of the Nyíregyháza sunset
The tower lookout is free to visit and offers a view of the bustling Kossuth Square from a height of 29 metres. During the day one can enjoy a panoramic view of Nyíregyháza, while later on one might admire the sunset. In the winter, the view is made even more special by the Advent lights.
Entering the church, one can take the 94 steps leading up to the left tower. If you happen to find the door locked, you can ask the sexton for the key and he will be happy to help you.
