The musical fountain in Sóstó plays well-known tunes and hits
One of the largest and most spectacular musical fountains in the country is located in the resort area of Nyíregyháza, Sóstógyógyfürdő, attracting crowds to the park in the evenings.
A musical experience for all ages
The musical fountain in Nyíregyháza has made its appearance in the community with spectacular show elements. In front of the water park, it impresses visitors with sound and light effects on a 500-square-metre surface. The fountain plays well-known hits, making it an instant favourite with adults and children alike.
The water feature follows the rhythm of the music, including classical composer Ferenc Erkel’s classics, Queen hits, fairy tales tunes, film scores and Hungarian popular music. The fountain is able to display a dynamic water scene rarely seen in Europe, so one can see, for example, a film for tourists about the city of Nyíregyháza, projected onto the water vapour.
The fountain operates seasonally, depending on weather conditions, from spring to autumn in the park in front of the Aquarius Spa.
Until 31 October from Monday to Sunday, you can enjoy programme blocks in the following musical styles:
